There are really four different programs currently offered, and they include A Short-Term agreement which provides more time to pay the utility bill. A Permanent agreement made between the utility company and the customer that can change the monthly due date permanently. An Installment agreement allows the customer to pay the current monthly utility bill plus an agreed-upon portion of the past-due amount each month to work away at any balance.
